At a glance
    The Department of Public Health Engineering has been working to ensure water and sanitation in rural areas of Monohardi Upazila. Besides, it has been working to ensure improved sanitation and safe water for the students of all the schools in the upazila. Work has been completed to install pipelines and deep tube wells to supply pure water in the municipal area. At present, recruitment of testers is underway to test the presence of arsenic in all tube well water of the upazila.
On the occasion of Mujib's centenary, 10 shallow tube wells have been installed in the shelter project.
